Very mild, sweet tasting red onion. Elongated bulbs range from 7.5-10 cm in length with a red skin covering crisp, juicy sweet flesh. Superb for fresh eating, salads, roasting or pickling. Matures in 90-100 days. Intermediate Day to Long Day variety; bulb size increases with longer days.
How to Grow
Start seeds indoors in a sterile medium 10 weeks before plant out time or direct seed in a sunny site with well worked fertile soil in early spring as soon as soil becomes workable. Seed typically germinates in 10-14 days.

COMMENTS: Use thinnings as spring greens. Onions grow best in rich organic soil. Keep soil evenly moist.
