Over 125 Years of History
Rooted in Waterloo for over 125 years, OSC Seeds is a fifth-generation family business proud to be wholly Canadian owned and operated. From our Kitchener facility, we ship across Canada, bringing our passion for quality seeds to gardeners coast to coast to coast.
Our story began in the late 1800s as a small store in newly founded Waterloo, and we’re still proud to call this community home, maintaining our presence in Uptown Waterloo with our retail store.
Shop in person at our Uptown Waterloo location, open Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 6:00 pm and Saturdays 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, for a wide selection of seeds and horticultural products year-round.

The germination standards at OSC Seeds are among the most rigorous in the world. All our seeds are tested at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada authorized labs to ensure that they meet or exceed Canadian seed standards.
