In the cool temperatures of late spring and early summer, the bushy 30 cm tall plants are almost completely covered with pretty double flowers. Colours include white, pink, red, purple and mauve to name a few. Flowering will tail off somewhat through the heat of summer but will still carry on until well into late summer.
How to Grow
Godetia resent transplanting. Sow seed outdoors in mid-May where they are intended to grow, and once or twice more at two-week intervals. Sow seeds on the soil surface and make sure there is solid contact with the soil. Very important to keep seeds from drying out during the 14 day germination period. Thin seedlings to 25 cm apart when they are 10 cm high.
