Calypso Cucumber Seeds (Aimers International) 2815. Hybrid. Variety originated in USA.
Approx. 60 seeds/pkt (35 seeds/gram)
Heavy yielding, gynoecious (produces mostly female flowers) pickling variety. Fruit is a darker green and averages 7.5 cm x 2.5 cm wide with a minimal amount of small white spines. Very good disease resistance. Matures in 50 days.
How to Grow
Sow 6 seeds per hill in a sunny spot when the soil temperature reaches 18-20° C or warmer and all danger of frost has passed.
Plant Depth: 2 cm. Seeds Per Hill: 6. Thin to: 4 vines/hill. Hill Spacing: 150 cm.
COMMENTS: Well-rotted manure or compost dug into the soil prior to planting is beneficial. Keep soil evenly moist. Seed will rot quickly when planted into soil that is colder than recommended. Harvest fruit continually to help promote continued production.
