Mitsuba Oriental Greens Seeds (Oriental Type) 2575. Also known as Japanese parsley. Delightful herb with a clean fresh flavour reminiscent of celery and parsley. Leaves, roots and stems are used raw or cooked. The young leaves are a tasty addition to salad & soup. Mitsuba is a hardy perennial that is grown as an annual food crop. Harvest when stems are 15-20 cm tall.
How to Grow
300 seed/gram. Sow seed in a moist, moderately shaded area in successive crops every 4 weeks from late April through to mid-July. Sow seed 1.25 cm deep and 2.5-5 cm apart in the row with rows 45 cm apart. Thin to 5-10 cm apart in the row. Some shade is particularly important during hot summer weather. Harvest stems when they reach 15-20 cm in height.
